With so many wineries in Northern Virginia, around the Leesburg area, to pick from it was hard to narrow down the selection, but somehow we did and good choices they were.
First for the day was Loudoun Valley Vineyards. Nice location, but the building looked like it had been there for a while. The views surrounding the Vineyard were pretty, particularly on this spring day. The Vineyards serves small plates on the weekend and most any time you they can put a picnic together for you to eat on the outside patio. That would be a nice afternoon, a picnic, glass of wine and that beautiful scenery. The cool factor was definitely the beautiful scenery!
